Kei Atelier has reopened!
New Sizing
We’ve switched to Aprés nail tips — these are high-quality Gel-X Tips that come in 14 sizes total. Our past supplier only provided 10 sizes. Kei Atelier aims to be as inclusive as possible, so the more sizes, the merrier!
Many other press-on nail artists also use Aprés tips, so it provides some consistency in sizing. It’s possible that if you’ve bought nails from another shop, you’ll have the same sizes here (no guarantees though!).
For past customers, you will have different sizes than what you have had in previous orders. Please order a Sizing Kit or re-measure to ensure your nail set fits! More information can be found on our Sizing Guide page.
New Designs
More colors, glitters, and charms — we’ve increased the number of designs in store, so you’re sure to find your perfect nail set! You may also notice that there are detailed descriptions of each nail set — I may have gotten a little carried away with them because I love including a mini story that describes the vibe of each nail (I think it makes it more fun!). My personal favorite set is Angel Lace; it’s so dolly and cute~ 🪽
We’ve also included options for nude shades: light nude and medium nude. For reference (not affiliated or sponsored), Kei Atelier uses the NailBayo Doi Nudi Beige Syrup Gel for light nude, and the NailBayo Doi Nudi Pink Syrup Gel for medium nude. For all designs that include a nude shade, these options will be available to choose from while we have the gels in stock.
New Website Design & Pages
You may have noticed some changes to our shop page! We’ve added a lot of things that you can explore, but I’ll just go over the main changes.
Create Bundles:
In the main menu at the top, the Shop link now has a drop-down menu. We’ve added a “Create a Bundle” page — here, you can curate your nail order and get a discount! If you order 2 nail sets, you’ll get 5% off. If you order 4 nail sets, you’ll get 10% off. If you order 6 nail sets, you’ll get 15% off. These don’t combine with other discounts, but they do combine with free shipping discounts!
Affiliate Program:
We’ve created an affiliate program! For now, though, to become an Atelier Affiliate, Kei Atelier will be the one to reach out and ask people. So we are not accepting applications currently. This may change in the future, though, as the shop grows!
Blog:
Since you’re reading this, you’ve probably noticed there’s a blog page now! It’s only in the works now, but we plan on doing a lot with it! If you like Japanese fashion magazines like Larme, or just cute beauty magazines, and enjoy reading about nail tips and fashion, you’ll enjoy this! I love the editing style of cute magazines and thought it would be fun to do something similar for blogs.
New Products
Kei Atelier is always in the process of thinking up and adding more products to the store. So we will be adding more as time goes on!
For now, we’ve added the option to add extra nail application tools to your order. These cannot be bought separately, though.
We’ve also added “Nail Replacement”; if you lose a nail, contact me and order this! This is also helpful if you order a nail set, but one of the nails doesn’t fit as well. Instead of re-ordering the entire set again, you can just order one!
If you have vacation plans and need to take your nails, we've got you covered! There’s now an option to buy a “Travel Press-On Nail Storage Case”. This is like a normal storage case, but with a 2nd compartment to put application tools in. Your nails will sit on the 1st layer, and your tools will be easily accessible in the 2nd layer!
A few things we’ve been working on are mini nail binders to store your press-ons in, glass nail files, and more.
We also understand your desire for customs and 3D character/oshi nails! We are working hard to start the process for this soon — finding better clay gels to work with, thinking of what the order forms will look like, and what questions we’ll ask — there’s a lot! We appreciate your patience on this. In the meantime, feel free to check out our other designs!
